Maddie Lee completed her Eagle Scout rank in November 2024; Maddie began scouting in March 2022. Maddie’s Eagle Project restored and refreshed the planters at San Marino Community Church Nursery School. Every Spring, the young students of the Nursery School tend to and cultivate plants that are approved by the School. However, with the soil being reused so often, it eventually begins to lose its nutrients. This makes it harder to grow these plants, so by replenishing the soil the School will be able to continue to plan and teach this educational spring project that is also fun and stimulating.
Claire Littman completed her Eagle Scout rank in October 2024; Claire began scouting in February 2019. Claire’s Eagle Project restored and refreshed the area around the gate of the LAPD Academy as well as behind the guard shack. The area had previously fallen into disrepair and it was low on the priority list for the LAPD to restore, although it is an iconic spot in the Academy. This project not only refreshed the look of the entrance area for all visitors and members, but also created a low-maintenance garden with native Californian desert plants that will require less frequent tending.
Eagle Scout Emelia Lagousis completed her Eagle Scout rank in March 2023; Emelia began scouting in March 2019. Emelia’s Eagle Project was to fundraise for, install, sand and paint a railing to improve the accessibility of the Verdugo Hills Memorial Hall. Her Eagle Project helps the many veteran members enter safely, including her grandfather, and she has enjoyed getting to know the Hall members in the process.

Eagle Scout Anjali Rao completed her Eagle Scout rank in December 2021; Anjali began scouting in February 2019. For her Eagle Project she built therapeutic equipment for San Marino Unified School District's adaptive physical education program which took a total of 244 1/2 hours to complete.
Anjali's accomplishment was recently highlighted in the San Marino Tribune.
Evangelina (Evee) Wong completed her Eagle Scout rank in January 2021, becoming one of the first female Eagle Scouts in the United States. Evee began scouting in February 2019 and completed her Eagle Project at St. Edmunds in December 2020.

Megan Gong completed her Eagle Scout rank in December 2020, becoming one of the first female Eagle Scouts in the United States. Megan began scouting on February 1, 2019 and completed her Eagle Project at the Los Angeles Police Academy in November 2020.
